Police in Altoona, Pennsylvania, confirm an arrest in the shooting death of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

The man was identified by New York City Police as Luigi Mangione.

Thompson was shot dead in Manhattan on Wednesday in what New York police called a “targeted” attack. Corporal August Stickel of the Altoona Police Department said the man was arrested this morning at a McDonald’s on “unrelated charges.”

This is a developing story.
